What to expect from this 3 day Legendary Savute Safari:

This Savute Safari in Botswana allows you to experience the legend of the Savute Channel and Marsh. Known to dry up at regular intervals the Savute Channel is a unique wilderness area where bull elephants congregate in numbers during the dry season and herds of zebra migrate from the north with the rains.

Savute Safari Lodge is situated on the Savute Channel overlooking a waterhole where animals come to drink in numbers during the dry season. Each wood, thatch and brick chalet has a wooden deck for relaxing and game viewing.

Days 1 & 2, Savute Safari Lodge, Botswana

Upon arrival in Maun you will be welcomed and transferred to your 45 min charter flight to Savute. You will be met at the airstrip by your guide and transferred to camp where you will arrive in time for a rest before the afternoon game drive.

Savute Safari Lodge is situated on the banks of the Savute Channel overlooking a waterhole. The lodge is made up of twelve rooms of wood, brick and thatch providing for relief from the elements. From the lodge it is possible to experience some amazing wildlife interactions.

Over the next two days game drives will explore the legendary Savuti area. Although now dry the area supports some of the most incredible wildlife interactions on the continent. Lions, leopards, elephants and many other species of game are found in the Savuti.

Days 3: Depart back to Maun, Botswana

After a morning drive on this, the last day of your Savute safari in Botswana, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Maun – in time to catch your connecting flight.
